Now that my shawl is done, I'm working on another project. This will be a holiday gift for my mom.
Back in this post from July, I mentioned buying a novelty yarn from my LYS to knit something for my mom (getting holiday knitting started early this year, I think). These types of yarns are not my thing, but I knew my mom would really like the frillyness of this scarf, so I CO the other day and the knitting is going pretty fast!
So here is the scarf's progress so far:
